In the name of tradition, I´m announcing winners +- a week after contest ended. I´m sure that everyone is curious about individual places, so without further delays, LET ME INTRODUCE THE WINNERS OF MONTH OF BOOK CONTEST!:

1. place :winner: :iconsupach: with poem Dorothy in the Land of OzBrave and bold Dorothy was
As she stranded in the land of Oz
The wicked witch flattened and dead
Dorothy´s house fallen on her head
The witches sister swore she would kill her
So this was the start of this exciting thriller.
The fairy Glinda took Dorothy´s hand
And saved the day with a wave of her wand
"To find your way home"she said "You must be strong,
Follow the brick road, you can´t go wrong".
Off Dorothy went with her basket and dog
And walked for miles in the witches clogs.
At crossroads, she wondered which path to take
Till suddenly a Scarecrow fell from his stake.
He was n´t sure either which way she should go
And pointed both ways, cos he didn´t know
And this made her even more confused
As she heard he had no brain to use.
"Why not come with me to the city of OZ
I´m going to see the Wizard there, because
He has to help me get back home pr`aps put me on a train
Maybe if he is kind enough, he´ll help you get a brain."

2. place :winner: :iconaijoku: with poem Coming homeGolden waves of sea of sands
Hidding tiny being
He is pale but burns with heat
Wandering heartbeating.

My childish dreams all became nightmares
And I did not want to see
That plane and that man are covered in sand
Eternal pain of empty
Heart of mine is bleeding silent
because tomorrows are my past

A black snake moaned his promise sweet
You’ll meet your answers
And you’ll drink from well
For knowledge is the sweetest poison

Old man misses  the child inside
Trapped within his lonely mind

Snake is coming closer
Petals of rose in my hands
I see the tiny being falling
Our body lays in sand
But we soar and soar
And flying softly

I am that little boy.

And I am coming home.

3. place :winner: :iconscarlette13: with poem Ho Chi Minh CityBeware, mortal, for you lay feet in pagan town
Where magic is oh so real all the day around
And all languages sound same to our pointy ears
So speak with care or we´ll punish all you leers
And keep in mind that there is truth in every tale,
That every grove hides fairies behind green veil

Beware, mortal, for you face race as old as this land
Refrain from claiming our old with your greedy hand
It is not free and it is not yours, remember that well
For stealing our trasures with make you face the hell
Keep only what belongs to you and leave what does not
Or we´ll turn you to statue with our spells on the spot
Beware, mortal, for we live in peace but we know fight
Face us with weapon and we´ll show you the fright
Treat us with respect we rightfully deserve for our ways
And in return we´ll show you the very same praise
Show us friendships instead of violence, and selfish greed
We´ll treat you as equal, not as mudman - that´s our creed!

And honorary mention goes to :iconweidenlied: for poem Am Anfang war ein DracheAm Anfang war ein Drache -
mit Schwingen golden im Sonnenlicht
Kinderherzen auf Reisen
sicher im warmen Bett.
Am Anfang war ein Drache -
ein Freund, ein Schützer, ein Held,
und dann, in fernen Wäldern
ein Baumhaus voller Bücher.
Am Anfang war ein Drache -
stets hier, nach Jahren auch noch,
ein lustiges, sprechendes Fahrrad,
ein Hunde-Geheimagent.
Am Anfang war ein Drache -
der trug stets mein Herz bei sich,
daran kommt kein Zauberlehrling,
kein gelähmter Ermittler.
Am Anfang war ein Drache -
mit glitzernden Schwingen am Himmel,
er fand mir "den anderen Harry"
und den Mann, den der Tod verstieß.
Am Anfang war ein Drache -
Glitzerschwinge, mein Held,
und selbst die Bücherdiebin
kam nie an ihn heran.
